ThinkVD HD Video Converter

ThinkVD HD Video Converter is a video conversion tool that you can use to convert your HD videos to non-HD formats and vice versa.

This application supports quite a number of formats, both for audio and video, and there are also a variety of conversion profiles for different devices.

The graphical user interface, although it is functional, doesn't appeal. Some of the buttons look like they have been made in Paint. The video player is located on the right side of the window, and it lets you play your videos before conversion, but it won't preview the conversion process. You can find the supported formats in a drop-down menu at the bottom of the screen.

To test the application, I loaded a 720p MKV file and I converted it into an XviD file. The whole process took less than 20 seconds for a 1-minute video, which doesn't sound bad at all. The results were of high quality. I didn't detect any problems with video or audio after conversion.

In short, ThinkVD HD Video Converter is a working converter with excellent format support. However, its graphical user interface isn't great and there isn't any GPU acceleration available.
